HOSTINGLEY FARM FREE RANGE is a family run business with over 30 years knowledge and experience. We are dedicated to the highest standards of animal welfare, rearing our birds from day old to full maturity, in open barns and large grass paddocks. Our turkeys and geese are specially selected breeds and are cared for in the time honoured traditional way. They are fed naturally on grass, grain from local assured farms and specially prepared ration with no additives or growth promoters. Licensed humane slaughtering using ministry vet approved methods, is carried out on site, eliminating the need for long distance live transport.

The process takes place with minimum stress, in our Environmental Health inspected facilities. The birds are hung in our chilled facility for a minimum of 10 days to further improve their flavour. They are then prepared for the oven by hand.
